Biography

Winner of Indian Council of Cultural Exchange Scholarship, graduated with MBBS from University of Allahabad in 1988. Served as the sole resident Dr in the mission hospital, Landor Community Hospital in 1989-90, coached under Surgeons Dr Peter Deuchman (Australian) & Dr Simon Sator (American), in the Himalaya. Returned to Malaysia, served with Sultanah Aminah Hospital, Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Sarawak General Hospital & Sibu General Hospital in various disciplines in Medicine, Surgery, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He worked for NGOs like the Rotary International, various nursing homes as consultant. Did a Diploma in Reproductive Medicine with University Putra Malaysia. He was coached under Urologist Dr Peter Lim, Gleneagles Hospital Singapore to do Post Graduate Study in Andrology and Men’s Health, researched on Age-Related Decline of Somatostatin, Endocrinology and Its Role In Anti-Ageing. Pursued in Fellowship in Dermatologic Laser Surgery from the Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine, Mahidol University, in clinical applied sciences of pigment laser, vascular, hair removal laser, ablative & sub-ablative laser, IPL and LED devices. He also pursued certification courses in cosmeceutical, nutraceutical, antioxidants-free radical concept, gene profiling, complementary medicine, hair transplant, PRP and stem-cell applications. He is the Founder & Director of Clinic Laser & Cosmetic Surgery Ling; DDL Medical Technology Hi-Tech Manufacturing for Dialyzer. He went on to do a double degree, Master in Social Sciences ( Diplomacy, Strategy, International Relations) from the Institute of Diplomacy & Foreign Relations in 2014-15. His thesis: “The Province Factor in the Changing Patterns of China-ASEAN Trade and Investment Links.” In 2017, Co-authored chapter on The Institutional Foundation & Features of China-ASEAN Connectivity with Assoc Prof Kuik Cheng-Chwee, Southeast Asia and China: A Contest of Mutual Socialisation, published by World Scientific publishing Co. Pte. Ltd., Singapore, USA, UK. . He is the President of Kuala Lumpur Academy of Social Sciences (KLASS); Rotary Club of Bukit Bintang, Rotary International District 3300; EXCO of Malaysian Society of American Studies; Economic Researcher of Huazhong. He is Founder & CEO of Mega Link Investment Holdings. He is a Strategist & Advisor to The Ministry of International Trade Cum Ministry of Finance II, Sarawak.
